Fiji Soccer Captain, Roy Krishna has left for New Zealand today to spend two weeks in quarantine before he leaves for Kolkata, India to join his Indian Super League club, ATK Mohun Bagan.
November is the tentative start date for the new season of the ISL, with Krishna expected to join the club for pre-season training next month.
Krishna posted on social media that he is travelling during the global pandemic.
Travel during covid times. My long journey back to India begins almost a month before preseason with the team. First stop NZ & two weeks of quarantine before another long journey to Goa.
Krishna captained the ATK side in his first season on numerous occasions, including the final where ATK clinched a record third ISL title.
